The JSR Large White dam line is arguably  the most productive  and prolific commercial dam line in existence, and continually outperforms other pure dam lines throughout the world. 

Represented in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania the benefits of this line are recognised on a global scale and are realised in the Genepacker 90 parent gilts.  The top 10% of nucleus animals consistently achieve over 17 pigs born alive and, unlike other lines, this is achieved without a negative compromise in growth or grading performance.

The result of years of careful selection, they help to ensure that our customers can continue to meet the challenges of a changing market place and succeed within a global industry.

The highly prolific Landrace contributes to the Genepacker 90.  Selected primarily for prolificacy the Landrace has excellent maternal characteristics.  Several criteria, including a minimum of 12 teats, ensure that only animals capable of raising a large proportion of the litters born are selected into the herd.  The Landrace option represents a lower emphasis on growth rate and a selection for fat that aims to stabilize rather than change, current levels.

Genepacker 4

The Genepacker 4 is a composite Landrace line which includes 25% White Duroc genetics and contributes 50% of its genetics to the Genepacker 150 Parent gilt.

Since the historic inclusion of the White Duroc genes, the Genepacker 4 population has bred true for decades, producing a consistent anaimal true to its line's characteristics. A robust, hardy alternative to the Landrace, the Genepacker 4 withstands challenging conditions, whilst still offering excellent prolificacy.
